The 17th September 2014 marked the start of the Milan Fashion Week, the event dedicated to spring/summer 2015 collections.
Armonica Film followed and filmed the newest trends on behalf of the famous American website glam.com.
After our recent experience at the London fashion Week, our camera crew looked for the best street styles mad in Milan, especially focusing on male total looks and female accessories.
Milan’s streets were flooded with fashion addicts, who have shown off in their best outfit for the occasion, or at least the most eccentric one! Photographed like real stars, they entertained and animated the streets of the city, among not so happy traffic policemen and luxury cars. the stage, for once, was all for them.

The Man Fashion Week took place between the 21st and 24th June in Milan, presenting the spring/summer 2015 collections.
Armonica Film was entrusted by Lebanese television MBC with the filming of several runways, in order to promote fashion in Arabian countries.
Armonica Film camera crew moved through the jungle of Milan’s runways. Luckily, we were accompanied by super model Jacob Abrian, Arab Fashion Week’s ambassador, and fashion creative director Mary Dell’Edera. Everything was accomplished thanks to a taxi after another, olympic runs for the backstages and fist fights to get the best spot on the photographers’ podium!
One hour, maybe less, is the available time to move from one runway to the other. Every brand has its own location: a classic Rotonda della Besana for Corneliani, an industrial-kind-of-loft for Costume National, a surreal staging for John Varvatos and a spectacular catwalk by Philipp Plein, which also included a rapper with watercraft.
Nothing is still, everything is show, and also side events are the ideal occasion to carry on sociological studies, as well as fashion trends’ ones.
A little spoiler we can share is that the “German on holiday” style, including sandals and socks, even better if socks are up to the calf, will be the must have of the next summer.
Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

What could a Ghanese, a Canadian and three Genoese people do in Rome? Of course, they are filming a music video!
Armonica Film challenge has been to open to an international and various market for several years now, particularly concerning the music video industry. About one month ago, our camera crew was in Rome to shoot the video for “Do You Really Love Me?” by Sun Essien. The shooting took place during two wonderful sunny days, when the keyword was “run against time”.
Everything started with a “treasure hunt“ in Roma Termini Station. The treasure was Canadian model Ariel Bouchard, which happened to be without a cellphone! Those of you who know Roma Termini Station during the most chaotic hours, can easily imagine the difficulty of finding someone in the middle of the early morning human sea. Luckily, our friend Sun used his supernatural powers and brought Ariel safe and sound on set.
To move in Rome when time is not on your side is a real disaster and traffic was our worst enemy. So be on time became soon utopia!
Small troubles aside, however, everything went well. Sabaudia beach and Trastevere have been the perfect locations to tell an autobiographic experience by the artist.
Beautiful Ariel interpreted the role of a girl with a strong character, often changing mood, whereas Sun had to play the unwanted lover part, who can’t do anything in front of the unstable behavior of his partner.
A special thanks goes to the Latina Film Commission, for following and advising us on the perfect location in Sabaudia. Thank you also to Lorenzo Vespignani for the apartment in Trastevere and, of course, a big thank you to our two protagonists. Francis and Ariel, you are extremely professional but at the same time you have a big heart!

We just finished shooting the music video for “Il cappellaio matto” by artist Omar Bonaventura, produced by Armonica Film with director Paolo Mantero and interpreted by the wonderful Alice Brivio. Attracted by the mysterious charm of his psychologist, the protagonist (Omar) goes through a surreal and visionary travel, which will lead his mind to come together with all major famale icons from the 50s to nowadays.
We started with the famous scene of “The Seven Year Itch” (1955), directed by Billy Wilder, where Marilyn Monroe’s skirt is accidentally lifted by the moving air after the passing of the underground.
Visions then go into the 60s with “Lolita” (1962) by Stanley Kubrick, where teenager Dolores Haze, aka Lolita, charms the candid professor Humbert Humbert till he loses his mind.
In this “seductive revival” we could not ignore the “9 1/2 Weeks”striptease, which made Kim Basinger a sexy icon of male imaginary in the 80s. This film, directed by Adrian Lyne, also starred Mickey Rourke and, thanks to its veiled erotism, became a cult of those years.
Here come the 90s and with them the woman who, sitting on a chair, crossed her legs to remain in history forever and ever. It’s 1992 and Sharon Stone is the protagonist, with Michael Douglas, of “Basic Instinct” by Paul Verhoeven. This film was one of the highest grosses in theaters that decade, bringing “strong” cinema to television.
So here we are at the grand finale! Actually, we are still in 1999 but only a few movies underline the emptiness of society in the new millennium as well as this one. We are talking about “American Beauty”, directed by Sam Mendes, winner of 5 Oscars in 2000. The movie starred a spiteful and sensual Mena Suvari, who fills the fishiest fantasies of a middle-age man interpreted by Kevin Spacey, completely naked and only covered in pink petals.
In only one day of shooting, we tried to be somehow worth these great titles. These little seduction flashes have the goal to pay tribute to the ability cinema has to charm human imaginary.
A special thanks goes, as always, to the Genova Film Commission and to the wonderful location in Villa Bombrini. Of course a big shout out and thank you to Alice, Omar and his staff, together with all the Armonica Film Team.

A new commercial video for Villa Salina will soon be available! We are talking about the new food and wine center in the Cuneo area, and this video was realized in partnership with Dafne Costruzioni, a construction company based in Moretta. We already worked with them two other times and we were really happy to do it again.
The Dafne Group was the in charge for the renovation of this wonderful ‘800 villa, which was brought to life again thanks to non intrusive interventions, without eliminating any original artistic element.
During a rainy November day, Villa Salina became a set, one which was especially delightful for Armonica Film camera crew. Between takes, we were able to taste delicious courses prepared for the occasion.
The aesthetic refinement of this villa, the delicious tastes, the richness of wines and the model’s charm are all the elements combined in this new video.
We are sure you will be impressed!!!
