Accent team relied on Armonica Film to shoot its promotional video for school in Florence. Our company collaborates with this international consortium since 2017, and has already realized two video productions for Accent Rome and Accent Madrid.

As always, our crew followed students during different activities organized for them. The school in Florence offers lessons both in English and Italian, in order to make the integration with local people and the understanding of the culture much easier.

Academic activities, on the other hand, included study and research at local libraries and teaching English to Italian children.

Our camera crew realized the shooting using Canon C300 and C100 cameras, and Gimbal DJIRonin to guarantee smooth motion. Equipment also included Led Panels Astra and Sennheiser AVX.

The international consortium Accent, based in the U.S., entrusted Armonica Film with the shooting of a promotional video for its office in Rome. Accent works with more than 50 U.S. colleges and universities. Thanks to these partnerships, hundreds of American students can take part in study programs overseas.

Every program starts with a first phase of guidance and preparation in the main headquarter in San Francisco. After that, Accent allows students of different ages to leave and spend some months studying in Europe. Accent’s European offices are in Rome, Florence, Madrid, London and Paris. In each of these cities, American students can find all the information and facilities they need to study and immerse themselves in a new culture.

Armonica Film’s camera crew had the chance to film students inside Accent’s academy in Rome. Among the different activities, they also took part in a cooking lesson!

The equipment used to shoot this video includes Canon C300, Canon C100, DJI Ronin e Sennheiser AVX.

Tuscany is well-known all over the world for its wonderful landscapes and excellent wines. The beautiful wine estate Terra Nera is located in Grosseto, among the hills of the Maremma region, a perfect place for first class wine production thanks to its unique soil and environment. The area is about 100 ha large and is mainly planted with Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Alicante Bouchet.

The landlord of this wonderful vineyard entrusted Armonica Film with the 4K promotional video production of Terra Nera. For the shooting the DOP used a Canon C300MKII camera equipped with L series Canon EF lenses. Part of the shooting was a drone video: we flew over the vineyard with a DJI Phantom 4 pro filming all the aerial footage. Timelapse sequences were realised using a Canon 80D in picture mode. The 4K editing worked flawlessly on a iMac 5K with Adobe Premiere while the evocative background music was supplied by Shockwave-Sound.

The Man Fashion Week took place between the 21st and 24th June in Milan, presenting the spring/summer 2015 collections.

Armonica Film was entrusted by Lebanese television MBC with the filming of several runways, in order to promote fashion in Arabian countries.

Armonica Film camera crew moved through the jungle of Milan’s runways. Luckily, we were accompanied by super model Jacob Abrian, Arab Fashion Week’s ambassador, and fashion creative director Mary Dell’Edera. Everything was accomplished thanks to a taxi after another, olympic runs for the backstages and fist fights to get the best spot on the photographers’ podium!

One hour, maybe less, is the available time to move from one runway to the other. Every brand has its own location: a classic Rotonda della Besana for Corneliani, an industrial-kind-of-loft for Costume National, a surreal staging for John Varvatos and a spectacular catwalk by Philipp Plein, which also included a rapper with watercraft.

Nothing is still, everything is show, and also side events are the ideal occasion to carry on sociological studies, as well as fashion trends’ ones.

A little spoiler we can share is that the “German on holiday” style, including sandals and socks, even better if socks are up to the calf, will be the must have of the next summer.

Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

What could a Ghanese, a Canadian and three Genoese people do in Rome? Of course, they are filming a music video!

Armonica Film challenge has been to open to an international and various market for several years now, particularly concerning the music video industry. About one month ago, our camera crew was in Rome to shoot the video for “Do You Really Love Me?” by Sun Essien. The shooting took place during two wonderful sunny days, when the keyword was “run against time”.

Everything started with a “treasure hunt“ in Roma Termini Station. The treasure was Canadian model Ariel Bouchard, which happened to be without a cellphone! Those of you who know Roma Termini Station during the most chaotic hours, can easily imagine the difficulty of finding someone in the middle of the early morning human sea. Luckily, our friend Sun used his supernatural powers and brought Ariel safe and sound on set.

To move in Rome when time is not on your side is a real disaster and traffic was our worst enemy. So be on time became soon utopia!

Small troubles aside, however, everything went well. Sabaudia beach and Trastevere have been the perfect locations to tell an autobiographic experience by the artist.

Beautiful Ariel interpreted the role of a girl with a strong character, often changing mood, whereas Sun had to play the unwanted lover part, who can’t do anything in front of the unstable behavior of his partner. Music video sun essien

A special thanks goes to the Latina Film Commission, for following and advising us on the perfect location in Sabaudia. Thank you also to Lorenzo Vespignani for the apartment in Trastevere and, of course, a big thank you to our two protagonists. Francis and Ariel, you are extremely professional but at the same time you have a big heart!
